We protect your
personal data

It is important to us that you feel safe with how we handle your personal data

Therefore, we are open about how we collect, process and share the information that we save about you with us. We never sell your personal data to other companies. Personal data is any information that can be used to identify an individual. Examples of this can be basic information about you such as name and contact details, but also your purchase history and holdings.

We ensure that your personal data is always protected with us, and that the processing complies with applicable data protection rules, internal guidelines and routines. We have also appointed a Data Protection Officer who checks that these rules are followed. In this document, we describe how and why we process your personal data, as well as what rights you have.

From where do we collect personal data?

Yourself - We collect the personal data that you provide to us, e.g. in connection with writing contracts, making a purchase, contacting us, or when using our services.

Information Services – We obtain certain information from external information services, e.g. we cross-check your social security number against public registers to ensure that your registered information is correct and up-to-date.

What personal data do we process?

The personal data we handle relate to the following categories (with examples in brackets):

Basic personal data (social security number, name, contact details, ID number).

Assessment and classification (according to rules regarding money laundering, securities trading or tax liability in the USA).

Agreements (all types of information linked to agreements such as customer, advisory and portfolio management agreements and powers of attorney).

Financial transactions (Securities transactions).

Communication (via letter and E-mail.

Recipients with whom we share information

Where applicable, we share information, including personal data, with certain recipients. We never sell your data to anyone else without your permission.

Suppliers - In connection with taking out insurance and/or signing agreements with depository institutions, we must share your personal data. We do not collect more data than we need to be able to deliver the services you want or that various laws or authority decisions require us to collect.

Service providers - To fulfill the purpose of our processing of your personal data, we share your personal data with companies that provide services to Ganthor, e.g. software providers. We buy services from Strukturinvest, Fortnox, Kapell and Hogia, among others. These companies may only process your personal data according to our express instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes. They are also obliged by law and contract to protect your personal data.

Your rights

Data protection legislation gives you a number of rights in relation to the processing of your personal data. We process your personal data to the extent necessary to fulfill your rights.

Access to your personal data - You have the right to request confirmation from us if we process personal data concerning you, and in such case to request access to the personal data that we process about you.

Request correction - Furthermore, if you believe that information about you is incorrect or incomplete, you have the right to request correction of the information.

Deletion and restriction – You can request deletion or a restriction of your data under certain restrictions.

Direct Marketing - You also have the right to, at any time. Object to our processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes and unregister from further mailings by reporting this to us by clicking on the unregister link in the mailing or contacting us via info@ganthor.se.

How long do we store your personal data?

We save your personal data for as long as we need to be able to provide the products and services you have an agreement with us for. We also save personal data in order to fulfill requirements in laws and decisions of authorities.

If you terminate a product or service at Ganthor, we need to save some of your personal data that is linked to that product or service for a certain period of time. For example, WE need to keep certain personal data for a minimum of five years and a maximum of ten years in order to comply with regulations regarding, among other things, the Money Laundering Act and the Accounting Act.
